Josh Sanderson
Head Coach & Assistant General Manager
Josh Sanderson joins the Calgary Roughnecks as Head Coach & Assistant General Manager after several years in the NLL as an offensive coach with the San Diego Seals. Prior to stepping behind the bench, the Orangeville, ON native played 19 seasons in the NLL as an offensive powerhouse, winning two Championships in 2005 (Toronto Rock) and 2009 (Calgary Roughnecks) and being named to the NLL All-Pro team nine times.
Shawn Cable
Assistant Coach
Shawn Cable played in the NLL from 2002-2008 with the Roughnecks, Colorado Mammoth, Anaheim Storm and Portland Lumberjax. He was taken in the third round by the Riggers in 2001 and was a Video Coach with the team before being added as an Assistant Coach for the 2024-25 season.
John Lintz
Assistant Coach
John Lintz joins the Calgary Roughnecks coaching staff following a decorated playing career that included four NLL Championships. The Edmonton, AB native began his NLL career with Calgary in 2009, capturing his first championship with the Roughnecks before going on to win titles with the Edmonton Rush in 2015, Saskatchewan Rush in 2016 and Colorado Mammoth in 2022.
A former defensive coordinator with the Vancouver Stealth, Lintz also brings extensive junior lacrosse coaching experience, including serving as Head Coach of the Edmonton Miners Junior A team. In 2022, he guided the Miners to the Minto Cup final, the furthest an Alberta team had advanced in the tournament at the time. Lintz has also been involved in developing young players through several Alberta lacrosse programs and academies.
